Motivation Is Yours With Weight Loss Hypnotherapy

With freezing, winter days ahead for many of us, the prospect
of braving the elements to get to the gym or go for a jog does
not sound very alluring. Finding the motivation to stick to
your weight loss goals when everyone else wants to hibernate is
painless with self-hypnosis for weight loss.
Most us who are trying to get back into shape agree that
motivation is especially difficult when the weather changes, so
what if you could stay committed to your exercise plan and diet

the unconscious mind is programmed to use the same thought
processes that are producing a problem, to eradicate it. In
other words, the same thought processes that the unconscious
mind utilizes to create cravings and oral compulsions could
help to completely eliminate them! And similarly, the same
processes can be used to increase your motivation to
exercise.
Anchoring is an NLP technique that can be used to give you a
"switch" for prompting feelings and behaviors. Creating
a hypnosis diet control anchor works
simply and effectively like this: A qualified hypnotherapy
weight loss practitioner will safely direct you into a
tranquil hypnotic state. Then the hypnotherapist will ask
you to identify a time when you were excited and happy about
anything in your life.
The purpose of this exercise is to remember and re-experience
as many sensations as possible from different times in your
life when you felt motivated and eager to do anything you
wanted. Then, the hypnotherapist will ask you to anchor those
feelings by simply touching two fingers
together.
Next, you will be asked to envision yourself exercising and
enjoying it. As you establish this mental picture, you'll
trigger your anchor by touching those two fingers together
again. When you do that, your unconscious will connect the
feeling of eagerness and excitement from the other memory to
the thought of exercising.
From that point on, any time you wish to feel motivated to
exercise, you can simply trigger your anchor and re-experience
those same affirmative feelings that will motivate you to
workout. NLP and weight loss hypnosis can even be helpful to
dissuade behaviors, so you can easily beat cravings. That
sounds much easier and encouraging than beating yourself up for
missing a workout or giving into temptation, doesn't
it?
A successful weight loss hypnosis program will also address the
root cause of weight gain for many people, namely a lack of
self-esteem. In a relaxed state, you can be given post-hypnotic
suggestions that will build your self-esteem as you lose more
weight. The lack of self-esteem is a big reason for being
overweight.
A lot of people wonder if, after attempting every fad diet and
buying every exercise implement on the market, something as
straight forward as weight loss hypnosis can work for them. The
good news is that research shows that all normal people are
hypnotizable to a greater or lesser extent. However, it should
be noted that people with less than a 70 I.Q. or those who are
in an active state of psychosis or with senility generally are
not hypnotizable.
But for the rest of us, hypnotism for weight loss can actually
help us look forward to exercising and eating healthily. That
said, the biggest proponent for success in any fitness program,
whether it incorporates weight loss hypnosis or not, is wanting
to achieve your weight loss goals.
On a related note, that is exactly why you can not force
someone to undergo weight loss hypnotism simply by giving them
suggestions. If someone is resistant to an idea, no amount of
weight loss hypnosis they see or hear will take hold. In
reference to the NLP explanation above, if someone does not
have a memory of feeling positive or motivated, they can still
experience success with NLP and hypnotherapy because they can
visualize what it would feel like if they did feel that way,
and anchor those imagined feelings.

decreasing as the days get darker and the temperatures drop,
